I was recommended to use R A Rowe for my proposal for a small housing development. This is where Debbie took on the role of managing the project of getting planning permission for the site. I have always found Debbie very professional in her approach to the project. She has great integrity and you always know that she is doing her very best on your behalf.

The project was not straightforward at all as there was always opposition from the parish council whose main objection was that the site was partly for affordable housing and the usual nimbyism that you get with this type of project and therefore there was not any support there at all. In addition, the local county councillor was also against the project and,  moreover, he was a member of the planning committee. Consequently, the planning committee turned it down, even though it had the backing of the council planning department.

However, Debbie has immense knowledge and has a great deal of experience at dealing with these matters with many years of employment both as council planning officer and in her capacity as  a planning advisor in the private sector. In addition, she has many contacts in all aspects of the planning procedure and has built up a very capable team each with a great deal of experience in their individual fields.

At the end of the day after going to appeal it passed and I can quite honestly say that if it were not for Debbie’s perseverance I may never have got the plans passed at all.
